Aller Air provides a lot of basic no frills air purifier for the money. We are impressed with these machines ability to cope with smoke or the elimination of VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Each unit contains a combination of at least 3 of the following: prefilters, true HEPA filters, carbon filters, and in some cases, UV germicidal lights which all help clean the air of particles, gases, odors, and smoke, and various pollutants including molds, depending on the model.
