Meyer “Sandy” Frucher submitted his resignation to the governor Friday, on the eve of the Belmont Stakes. Gov. David Paterson appointed him a year ago.
In the letter, Frucher said he decided to quit as chairman of the New York City Off-Track Betting Corp. after the state’s budget director said he wouldn’t sign off on a plan to finance the company’s turnaround with up to $300 million in municipal bonds.

I own 2 orecks that run at all times in my home. It is absolutley amazing what kind of dirt/lint/filth that comes out of the re-usable washable t-cell. You cant deny that the oreck doesnt work as advertised because Ive seen the grime that comes out of it after cleaning. My son had severe allergies,which since running the oreck, hes had hardly a problem at all. Not too mention I barely see any dust in the house, and we all rarely ever even get sick with colds anymore. I love it.
Hi lindoflorida. While I do have 3 cats, my house is not loaded with dust. Plus, the commercial encourages people to buy this who have pets and allergies. If your house is perfectly clean – why get an air purifier? That’s my question. The review is accurate and I stand by it. I wish I could say differently but I cannot.
