Customer Reviews:
Friedrich CF Carbon Filter
I have had this electronic filter for over 4 yrs and am very pleased with it. The carbon filters only have to be replaced every 4 to 6 months. Since I live in the midst of suburbia sprawl and development, there is always dust. The Freidrich electronic filter and CF carbon filter have reduced my indoor dust and my need for inhalers to control my asthma.

quality product but not the filter I was expecting
I was looking to replace the charcoal filter that is the final stage for my C90 unit; I was sent a nylon pre-filter that matches the existing pre-filter on my unit, not a carbon or "charcoal" final stage filter that I was expecting. I gave this item 4 stars because the item I received matched the quality of what I have on my unit as a *pre-*filter which has performed well, and honestly it is still somewhat unclear to me from the description and in comparing descriptions of other C90 filters advertised on Amazon if this error is due to an incorrect item being listed in the description or a misunderstanding on my part. Amazon customer service processed the return and quickly gave a refund for this item.

Does the job
Replacement filter has a black vinyl or plastic frame instead of the galvanized steel frame that appear in the advertisement photo (and what the original filter had), but it works just the same.

Council Hears From Metro On Bus Cuts To The Area
02.06.11 @ 1:39 pm | No Comments

The Santa Cruz Metro Transit District's proposed service cuts to make up a $1.44 million shortfall for fiscal year 2011-12 were laid out to the Scotts Valley City Council on Wednesday night by Metro transportation planner Erich Friedrich.

Friedrich received encouragement from the council, including vocal support from members Stephany Aguilar and Jim Reed.

The final vote on the proposal will be at the Santa Cruz City Council Chambers, June 24 at 9 a.m.

Proposed cuts affecting the San Lorenzo Valley include:

• Routes 33 and 34, which serve Scotts Valley and Felton, will run only four times a day instead of the current six trips, and the afternoon departure of the 34 will leave at 3:20 p.m. rather than 2:35 p.m.

• Route 35/35A will run every hour instead of the current half-hour intervals during the afternoon. In the evening, the schedule will be adjusted with departures every hour and 15 minutes, as opposed to every hour as it is now. Source
